Good to hear that GMC has managed to secure power.
What is the price of the electricity/power agreements?
If its US$0.11c/KWh, GMC is uncompetitive before they start. They'll be competing with SCORE Sarawak where the price of power is less than US$0.04/KWh and China the cost of power is US$0.06/KWh.
The cost of power is 25% of the direct input costs of producing ferro manganese, therefore power is one of the most important criteria for establishing a manganese alloy plant.
I wouldn't get excited until you know how much you are paying for the power, at US$0.11c will cost US$350 to US$400 /tonne of Ferro manganese.
