The "sources" may well be reliable in referencing information received from those people close to the business or in the know.
The problem and I think, the reality, is that GMC, it's management and associated parties are so unreliable themselves that it any information - formal, informal, legally binding etc etc which emanates form the company is worthless.
So whilst I get your point and you're no doubt alluding to the likes of myself or @MasterPiccolo and unreliable sources, it was always posted in good faith.
You will note if you check my posting history that I have been in GMC from sub 1c. I've only chosen to share info or contact I have had with the company since the TH and suspension. There's a reason for that.
