All these Biomed companies have local arms... Roche Molecular Australia is very competitive.
The science behind GSS is good... but expensive. . Probe /primer based PCR is costly. The other companies have great backing to E.g Ausdiagnostics is run by Cambridge alumuni for example.
The number of pathogens detected is the same format as most other tests... but they have to run 5 or 6 controls and therefore state their product us a 22plex PCR.
I run the same Pathogens on my PCR, from an alternate commercial provider.... but with only one control required.
I know no lab in QLD would touch this product..... cost mainly. Roche PCR comes in at $40... just below Medicare rebate.
