Thanks Mutt. That's a lot of ore shipped if I am reading this right. Plus there is another 50 days to go for the quarter. This assumes that the ships were fully loaded. If the price of ore holds up, this will be a great quarter.
My back of the envelope estimate is a movement and sale of ore of over 550kt for the quarter. This is conservative given what's happened in the past, when they had inventory of the amount they had at the end of the September quarter, 550kt. Could go as high as 700kt for the quarter. We'll see.
Let's say pellets remain at US $ 105, (same as prior quarter), total revenue for the quarter is looking very positive. No wonder the share price has strengthened.
