On 3D seismic it is more difficult since the seismic looks at the 'average' rock and the difference between channel and overbank may be more blurred. The key to success is to stay in the channel 'belt' and not drill a shale well with no sand.

The good news is, if VPE has identified where the channel likely goes from the best wells, Growler 3 and 5, then Growler 6 and 7 should be winners. This means higher production and additions to the 1P and 2P reserves.
