Its a fine line to tread for management and RC. Either:

• Stay quiet until he has final irrevocable deal and cash in the bank – Shareholders annoyed at the lack of information flowing
• Tell all when it all info becomes available with or without a deal or commitments - Shareholders annoyed at lack of materialisation of “potential” projects
• Tell all when the deal inked and estimate time frames when cash will be in the bank (current situation) – Shareholders annoyed with missed timeframes

Of course in reality none of the above matter if you do in the end pull off the deal – Patients people!
