If the UG mining is to operate with open cut then this could be just a way to extend the life of mining after the ore has been exhausted in the open pit in 2032 as projected. Be interesting to get the full results of exploration - it may well be that they have a significant ore body at that depth - otherwise why actually chase it. They have Southdown to develop and perhaps there is a bigger prize here - where they already have mining operations.
Hope we get information soon but it still seems a positive to me at the moment.
