The video to celebrate 50 years mining talks about the first drill bit finding iron ore to a depth of 600 metres. If a deposit can be proved up to that depth then savage river will have a very long mine life indeed. This will extend current operations beyond 2032.
I can only guess early signs from drilling to date are encouraging.
Its good to see a positive announcement from the company. Now we just to need to get rid of the undisclosed shorters and we will be on our way.
