If you want to disappear down a rabbit hole for days then feel free to read the CDU threads for a very sad story.

There are some people in common who now aren't a big part of the AMG story, and I can't speak for others, but I think hoots is alluding to the past history of CDU and maybe just suggesting that people learn from history, these are speculative mineral exploration stocks so the accepted wisdom is to only invest what you're prepared to lose. because often that's what happens.

CDU had heaps more red flags (and I recommend reading the CDU threads as educational in spotting red flags) than this AMG story so far but the story is still evolving and hasn't gone silly yet and we aren't seeing retail "bag holders" around yet but anything's possible.
