I will say this @timmo For patiently and tacticLli accumulating a stock, I still have an open buy order on DMP at $13.50 from 2013. I think it was trading a bit under $14 when I put it in.
There is such thing as transaction risk.
Agree with you all there are a lot of dogs in the market. There's also a lot of hype and hysteria. I checked TAM the other day and it's more than doubled seemingly for no reason in 4 months.
I generally apply the theory if I think a stock is worth buying and I can afford it and it's at least on the money I'll pick it up. I only really bargain hunt for the top 50. Like BHP at $14.6 would have preferred to spend money on species but that was just too good to pass up.
