re: Ann: Gold Fields encouraged by drilling r... Indeed, looks like the long haul, unless a fund creeps in. $5.4m is a lot for Goldfields to spend on a company with a MARCAP of only $10m. They wouldn't be doing it if they weren't 'encouraged' by what they have found so far. Its all good news, was hoping for more of a boom announcement! Even the title of the announcement wasn't very PR.

"Gold Fields encouraged by drilling results on JV projects"

Should have read:

"Goldfields to spend a further $5.4M on drilling Clancy's JV!"

But hey, Clancy have never been that PR, preferring to let results speak for them instead of hype.

BTW, If you are into oil at all check out GBP. I have/ will be taking some money off of the BCC bandwagon and putting it in there.
