On the other hand, the presence of liquids is extremely promising, both because they are a valuable byproduct themselves and because their presence would suggest there are heavier hydrocarbons in the gas also. Unlike CSG which is almost entirely methane, a gas that was richer in C2, C3, C4+ components would convert at much higher ratio than 1Mmcf:1GJ, it would be a far more valuable product indeed.
I wonder when we will we see Gemba-2? This was an expensive well requiring a grant from the government so I wonder whether it still works as a standalone project. Is there infrastructure nearby?
