Was initially going to vote against without 2nd thoughts. Although I find the lack of SPP and disrespect for current shareholders is sickening I'm trying to sit back and make a decision on whether to vote for the raising or not based on what would be best of the shareprice rather than spite for management's strategy.
In most other cases a capital raising has set a base for shareprice, with a positive reaction following to varying degrees.
Do I think a raising is essential? Not on info provided to the public. Would reduced debt be good for the business (sentiment, if nothing else)? Yes. Due to market reaction to the raising, have I / others had a chance to increase our holding at similar prices to the raising? Yes.
Will mull this over a bit more I think. How have others thoughts evolved if at all??
