But for your comparison you still need a mountain of information to make a model in order to make the relation possible. You can’t just say their cut off grade seems too low because a gold project with equivalent X dollar value of cut off grade would be too low. Where is your difficulty to mine factor i.e mineralisation hardness? Gold mining typically is pretty hard on equipment and crush/grind yes? Where as lead Galena is a breeze. That right there creates a expense differential underground. From there you could talk about losses in process and recovery factors with that % in ore already creating a significant cost difference between the two recoveries. I just don’t see a nice comparability based on a simple cut off grade dollar value across different mineralistions sorry.
@ US$1927/t LME Lead we have about US$170 Per Tonne metal value in our mining inventory. Our mining inventory is 16.4mt @ +8% grades Even if you are aggressive with value inputs you still come back with very good NPV returns in the hundreds of millions. So Davisite is right, we will be bought, and you and I and others here will make some cash while we learn from each other
