There may well have been leaked information, but we have zero evidence that this leaking came from Alex - once the announcement was made the SP actually went down.

PDN was doomed from long before Alex came on board given the uranium price and the level of debt it was carrying. I doubt JC himself could have rescued PDN given the mess that was there, add in some hardball game playing by the Chinese and the French and I would not have wanted to be in Alex's position.

While not so good for the shareholders he did manage to get PDN up and running again which was no small feat.
