Exactly. It's all ticking along, nothing ever happens as quickly as you'd like, in most parts of life! In the meantime the share price is just about fear and greed. So if we're happy to back our judgement we should all be checking the share price a lot less often than I know I do! No analysis here but hey, a large, high grade deposit a short train ride from Detroit is going to be worth huge amounts in a few years. Very few of us, myself included, really have any idea of the current state and future projections of the brine - hard rock race (plus all the other chemistry variations). Realistically there's going to be opportunities for both, but the fact JB is going to have a converter selling LiOH directly into the North American market is dynamite. The longer SdV takes to develop the more likely that JB is built in parallel. By the time it's built we'll have a better idea of what tech is winning the race, but I can't see any way we won't have enjoyed massive growth and a regular dividend by then, it's only the size of each that's the question.
Happy for people to short and 'manipulate' the price, no one is forced to sell so I don't hugely buy the vitriol about that. The only risk that I can see is poor MC performance, but as long as it's profitable (and the worst case seems like a short dip in profitability) we have plenty of cash to start our developments, the so less extra cash isn't going to impact the critical path for these developments, which seems like it's approvals and JV/offtakes etc.
