That's my take. After KDR's drilling proved up an enormous resource, SQM dived on them within days of the court trial over ownership being resolved. So a PFS is an extra layer. But maybe potential partners feel that the longer they wait, the better deal they can get. I'm sure someone is interested here.
Anyway, people shouldn't conflate the SP with the company's odds atm. No one knows any more than anyone else atm and this slump has been a capitulation by panicky SH's and the oppies conversion to egg it on.
