hi captain. you are correct oil is down, but natural gas prices are up. the main manufacturers of the chemicals required to produce plastics are lyondell Basel (USA) and Qatar. NGL price up materially last few months. it's gas prices you need to watch (globally) not the oil price. oil feeds more into petrol and diesel prices and not plastic.
