I have been following NEA for two years. The only negatives I am aware are from posters on Hotcopper. Some of these - I suspect - were from disgruntled employees and shareholders trying to ramp SFI. The following is a very rough account of what I remember:

* negative comments from employees on a web page that facilitates employee's comment on their employer. (Birdman balanced this with positive employee comments).
* A couple of senior and influential managers resigning around 12 months ago.
* The guy with the technical expertise that created NEA's technology leaving the company several years ago. I think he started spook fish.
* Drones will disrupt and take customers from NEA. More recently, someone posted a video of NEA's CEO explaining the differences in drones, NEA's aerial photography and satellites. This reassured me that drones will only have a limited use and not be a serious threat.
* The subscription model won't work. People won't pay to use it.
