The rationale behind the DDT merger is difficult to comprehend - where is the synergy for BFC?, what is the strategy?.
DDT has been unable to do much with their technology and after all this time it is difficult to see it suddenly taking off in the future. It appears it is technology nobody wants.
I'm sitting on a loss at the moment - fortunately not a huge one and I have been waiting a little bit longer to see if i can at least get out breakeven. BFC has some good assets and has potential with good management which is causing me to hang in.
Despite the management fee being extracted the management so far seem clueless on how to extract value from the assets they hold. DDT is a distraction the company management does not need if they are going to bring value to the Company's assets.
