Regarding the Ethicon / J&J class action, note that this would need to be resolved in the next four months to impact the end of year 2019 results (30 June). This may or may not happen in that time frame as these things move at a glacial pace. The latest (4 Feb) seems to be that the court ordered Ethicon to pay 75% of costs which is actually less than previously ordered and that a further case management hearing be scheduled (no dates as of yet). Additionally any winnings may not go towards cancelling debt as this is at the discretion of the company management.
