I'd rather see them pay down debt too, rather than pass the hat around to pay a dividend that might not last in the long term.
As for a share buy back - really can't see that happening with the usual liquidity in the stock and the majority shareholders parcel sizes. How much stock is really on the 'market'?, founders on their own hold ~50%. It would only take around 200-300k worth of shares before the price shoots up to where the buyback is no longer at a fair price for existing holders.
Such low liquidity makes capital raising and buybacks a pretty risky game.
