That's the whole point though. What if it grew profits by 8% per year for the next 50 years. There's almost no way to get a proper value.
I think you have to normalise earnings (real earnings not wishes (this is where cashflow is a juicy concept)) and multiply it by a number. That number in a great company and a great economy is 15. You'll be wrong 99% of the time. You should pay less than what you reckon its worth.
