I have been holding since around Feb 2016 when the price was around 55c. I was too greedy to sell when it reached 1.50 a while ago, which was careless of me. So I have no fear for shorters, though I think it is sometimes useful to see things from a different point of view and maybe take a second look at what the vultures are following in case there is a value opportunity.

For now I won't consider reducing my position by 1/3 until maybe around 1.15. So I'm quite happily well in the green and pleased with the recent upswing. Still a number of items to de-risk the firm

- The CA against shine being settled for peanuts by directors insurance or abandoned.
- Some major CA being settled, in particular the j&j pelvic mesh class action. How much WIP/disimbursement liability can be derisked here once a decision or settlement is made in the next 6 months or so? I'm not sure but I know it's a big number.
- Plenty of other work in the pipeline or nearing completion. PFAS class actions, child abuse redress scheme and so on. Judging by the the amount of hires shine is seeking and the demand for lawyers it's a bit too early in the turnaround to sell for me.


Anyone else notice a second 10 million transaction on Chi-X last week?

Will be interesting to see if this was cadence again. Around the 9th of the month they release their NTA and statement of current holdings. Last check they had around 2.7% of their fund in shine.....interesting times. I have been waiting for insto interest for too long....
