While I understand what you're saying and somewhat agree. I disagree he needs to be taken to task. Theses oil and gas CEO's are salesmen at the end of the day. People below make the decisions. The chief paints the best picture possible in support of the shareholders. If they can't sell the story the share price languishes and the company starts the downward spiral. If he didn't talk up his patch the shareholders would be going for the throat.
