They are going to borrow $300M (doubling LT borrowings) to buy back stock on a PE of 30. They'll likely pay 5-6%+ on the debt, meaning any benefit gained on buying stock is lost anyway
With growth slowing to 20%, why is now the time to buy back stock and not in 12-18 months at lower lows ?
A buy back 250%+ the size of NPAT !
Someone needs to wake them up, tell them they aren't a tech stock
