Yeah tell me about it - the saying 5 mins of sunshine followed by 23hr and 55mins of darkness and despair!

I like his thoughts about the cyclicity and picking up assets when everyone else has given up, have to be so methodical and patient about it though. He makes a good point that if you don't use the whole cycle you are just overpaying for assets. I would have liked him to explain his rationale and methods he uses for assessing sovereign risk - that's an art in itself! As recent events in the Tanzania and the DRC shows - its still possible to get it wrong.
