No Spookfish cameras for EagleView planes scheduled to commence operation in the US in 4Q17
This means NEA's about to face a competitor with an identical offering. Both NEA's and SFI's camera systems are expected to cover area at similar rates i.e. 30 sq.kms per day (up from 3 sq.kms per day currently) - does this therefore reduce capture costs by a factor of 10? Potentially. Could this smash the NEA's "unique" subscription model? Maybe. If capture costs become really inexpensive then bespoke capture won't make sense for EagleView. EagleView will just do large area capture like NEA.
