Will be interesting to see what comes from the 3 holes planned at Yappsu. The shallower two will test up plunge where geophysics are not (apparently) to well defined. The real prize though may be at depth with zones of massive sulphides which may be shown by the deeper drill hole. DHEM will be a useful tool.
I was in Michigan recently and the mention of the Eagle Mine tweaked my interest. I was aware of it but not its specific location or much detail so did a little research.
This extract from the report shows the time line for discovery of the higher grade section of Eagle as mentioned in today's announcement. Ten+ years from initial discovery and a lot of exploration required to locate this high grade zone.
Variations of the analogies given in the announcement have probably been in the back of Dr Hronsky's (and ?others) head for several decades and it is good to see proof of concept getting closer to reality.
IMO even if Yappsu doesn't produce the high grade "pods" there will be others in the larger WMP area that will be discovered during the life span of any mine developed at Nebo-Babel. The initial drill announcements from WMC ?near what is now called the Startmeup zone (+Yappsu and elsewhere) hint at this.
