There is nothing wrong with the gold grades at all, and the down hole intercepts show that the gold is shallow, but in this industry its all about where the drill holes are and which direction they are drilling.

Take a look at this map which puports to show the cross section locations (note the lack of detail):

It immediately jumps out at me that they have set the rig up within the area of a tennis court and drilled the buggery out of it. Its only when you dive into the drill hole location data that you have a chance to see whats actually happening. The first 9 drill holes were drilled towards the north (so not driling orthogonal to the mineralization) and then they have turned the drilling direction around from hole 10 onwards to more east and west drill hole orientations, which is the more traditional and orthogonal approach to drilling a steeply dipping mineralised system that strikes almost north-south. But again - drilling within the confines of a large tennis court.

This is a bit puzzling to me as they claim to have kilometres of minerlisation outcropping at surface in large north to south vein systems (with very high surface gold samples outcropping) and yet they seem unable to get the drill rig out of that small intensly drilled area....

Why confine all your drilling to one small area? I guess the answer could be that they are trying to nail down the exact geometry and the surrounding geology before they go off drilling other targets but its starting to look a bit ridiculous now....

Your question about the weather is kind of difficult to answer, in that area anytime from mid December onwards runs the risk of heavy rain and a drill rig stuck there unill things dry out - poosibly Feb or March. If they have access to enough rock sheeting and are prepared to construct roads and pads they may be able to drill over the wet season but its a painful and expensive process that still runs the risk of supply chain failures (i.e. people and fuel unable to get to drill rig).
