More awesone Cu/Co intersections from Vardy/Marley. The results are so consistently high that it's almost boring! AML Cu/Co grades are undeniably the best for any large sulphide resource in Aus. The high grades, widths of intersection and virtually unlimited strike length are of magnitudes that other Cu/Co explorers in Aus can only dream about.
The only issue with the Walford Creek resource imo is it's fairly remote location on the QLD/NT border. But if the resource size and grade are good enough (which appears to be a certainty imo) then the economics will stack up to justify whatever capex requirements are involved to develop the mine(s).
Interested parties who are no doubt watching progress would include Oz Minerals. South 32, Glencore and some Chinese/Asian behemoths with a particular focus on cobalt. Oh, and don't rule out the possibility of a large automotive group wanting to take a decent chunk to sure up future cobalt supplies for Li-ion batteries ...
