What I have quoted is taking all of the sections they reported and working out what is a an average/typical grade. Bear in mind that the actual avg grade is even lower than this as I have not included the sections where they didn't find anything notable (ie my numbers are here is the average of what they found only looking at the bits that they found something).

Grades can and will vary along a deposit. You have to be very careful when you read a drilling results announcements not to get carried away reading just the sexy bits at the top. High grades are good. But you need to ask follow-up questions:

How do the best grades compare to average grades? There's no point having amazing grades if it only occurs in one tiny spot.

Are grades consistent through each hole? So once you start digging, you keep on hitting it in the same spot.

Is there mineralisation across different holes? Ie does the deposit extend far geographically?

Is there mineralisation at the end of the hole? If there is, the assumption is that as you keep digging lower, you will keep hitting. If not, you assume that the mineral runs out at x metres below the surface.
