San Jorge mining operations - Mining has commenced 

Prospectus 21 February 2019 (page 6) 
The prospects of the Company depend on the commencement ofproduction as the San Jorge project.  

So for the dumb (like me obviously) what the difference between mining commenced  and the commencement of production?
