My guess is the slide today is mostly about the latest DEG update not mentioning the conglomerate play as part of their package more than anything. While their main focus is (and should be) on the structural gold and working it up into a very attractive package for engaging the folks we need to fund development, lots of people bought into the conglomerate story in late 2017 following NOVO's discoveries and the subsequent DEG announcements of similar gold-bearing conglomerate on their patch. It was that buy-in that pushed the share price north of 10c, rather than any news on the structural gold. So by downplaying the value of the conglomerate story here, DEG may lose the confidence of those that bought in for the conglomerate ride. Personally, as a very long-term holder who lost his shirt when DEG went off chasing the latest shiny thing in Patagonia in the late 2000's, I'm very happy that DEG is keeping a tight focus on systematically progressing the structural gold assets, economics and mining engineering, rather than going in all directions (e.g. conglomerate, VMS polymetalics, or lithuim) like ARV has. That latter approach risks running out of funds rapidly with little to show unless a well-funded white knight wants to specifically fund those components as a JV or via a placement with agreed milestones. I'm quietly confident that DGO gave plenty of thought to the value that DEG's structural play holds when they bought-in at 20c, and if all goes to plan, they, along with many of us, will recover that investment plus some, as the year progresses. At the time they invested they were well aware that DEG will also need to raise $10m by mid-year, and must have been confident that DEG has a  clear path to do that without significant dilution.

Interesting how some new folks here seem to have jumped from the CEO board to trash talk DEG and NOVO, a shame though as this was a very civil forum until recently.
