If you literally just want a $100 portfolio and never add to it, yes its expensive. But you are kidding yourself if your basing you "bad product" assumptions on the result of a $100 portfolio. No one on the planet can build a $100 portfolio cheaply. But its still cheaper than making a $100 trade through Commsec for an ETF.
