Battery factories are going to burn money.
C4V have the patents yet have not been able to get any interest from anyone despite the cobalt price shooting through the roof......any one of the majors could have thrown $50-100m and a royalty deal if the technology worked, but they haven't so that should say it all.
Even if they did have something and did not want to license it, it will at the earliest start hitting the market possibly 2nd half of next year with scale in 2021-2022. In the meantime major are reducing costs by 15% at least per year from a whole host of factors including changing the composition.....any advantage C4V thought they had will be long lost in 2-3 years.
Battery factories are going to burn money.
I'd be happy if they put Nachu in a separate entity because as soon as they mentioned something regarding the mine, the market reacted positively.......$1.6bn asset!!!
