Strategic Alliance to broaden market reach
Mejority Capital Limited (MJC) has entered into a strategic alliance with Perth based corporate advisers, Somers and Partners Pty Ltd (“Somers”.
The alliance is in the nature of a revenue/cost sharing arrangement, seeking to take advantage of synergies between the two companies.
Somers is a corporate advisory and capital markets firm, based in Perth, Western Australia. Somers provides corporate advisory, mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and trading services for ASXlisted companies and institutional investors. Lead by Managing Director, Mr. Andrew Frazer, who has over 25 years of capital markets experience, Somers has a strong track record of advising small and mid-cap resources and emerging industrial companies.
Somers will seek shareholder approval to initiate a change of name to Pinnacle Corporate Finance which will more closely align itself with the operating subsidiary of MJC, Pinnacle Securities Pty Limited.
The two companies believe their two businesses are sufficiently complementary that the alliance will provide significant synergies and ultimately, greater efficiencies to the benefit of shareholders of both companies. It also expands each company’s reach through access to more product offerings and trading facilities to the benefit of the parties and their collective clients.
MJC CEO, Neil Sheather, said:
