Catapult, the world leader in sports performance technology, has agreed a deal with the Football Association of Wales (FAW) that will see Catapult’s athlete monitoring systems used by the Wales senior men’s national team, as well as the U21, U19 and U17 age group squads.
Providing the FAW with cutting-edge technology and dedicated support, Catapult will work closely with the Wales national squads to ensure that they are maximising the benefits of athlete monitoring systems and optimising performance during the UEFA Nations League and the qualifying stages for Euro 2020.
The senior and U21 teams will use Catapult’s S5 and G5 devices to optimise performance and reduce injury risk among outfield players and goalkeepers, while the U19 and U17 teams will be using PLAYERTEK by Catapult technology to access key technical and physical insights.
