Possible scenario: when the buy side is thin, someone sells enough to wipe several lines to depress the sp possibly selling to themselves on another account with several small orders, and and then puts a bigger size buy order at the lower price in order to scoop cheaply if some fall for the trap. The problem is a few would put orders in to frustrate the ploy. But I think he may have been successful a few times over the weeks and he just keeps repeating the trick.
