WIMAX is not the solution.
3G vs WIMAX - absolutely no doubt in my mind 3G is 1000 more reliable (and faster) for the average on the move punter than WIMAX.
I've dealt with both technologies, and I can categorically say WIMAX is a complete waste of time and money. The service is poor at the best of times and relies heavily on line of sight (forget about it if it rains!).
