"Mr. Duckett said the company was assessing suitable properties for a farm and processing and would send a small team in late august as part of a feasibility study". Looks like the lads will be having a holiday in FIJI at the expense of shareholders.
If ASX are digging their heels in can quite understand. The company had an EGM on 13th July shareholders voted for the purchase of dairy farms in Australia now the wheel has turned, dairy farm and processing in FIJI to be added. Surely shareholder approval would be required to expand off shore.
Shareholders and market are entitled to know what is going on.
Announcement of this ? with Fiji, appeared very soon after the EGM, so was this already on the go and if so why was it not included in the resolutions of the EGM.
Something not quite right here.
