Cmon shale oil exploration would have to be one of the biggest wealth destructors of the resource sector that I can recall. Is there any venture that has blown so much cash for such little result . It is not a model of 60 dollar oil let alone 45 dollar oil
The only wealth created is for the management and the accomodation providers this guys use at 2k per night to produce 50 bopd .
