I know you were supposing but my point is what if the point of supposing the extremely unlikely . If you suppose any company increases its current production by 500% without capital and overnight, then I can assure you 99.9% of companies current SP would be a screaming bargain . But that kind of supposing is a complete waste of time. It's not analysis and it's not investing. Now I would hope you don't invest on supposition but you try to extract current reality with maybe some reasonable projections of the future. Forget what they tell you, you have factual info to work out the economics if you choose. Take the one well that produced any oil in the last campaign and work out how long it will take for that well to simply recover the capex . Lifting costs are 8, and assume 15 dollars for everything else which is overly generous. Now tell me when does that well cumulative produce enough oil at a margin of 20 USD to recover only its capex costs . When you do that , then work out the same for the 3 wells ( 1.5m usd) and when you do that work it out for the 1.5 m usd plus 3 m -4m corporate operating costs .
Even if you believed them they are profitable at 30 , they exclude capex recovery, and they exclude corporate costs which we know have many wonderful things like travel and accomodation costs at 2k a day . You need 100 bopd at 20 dollar margin just to pay for this one line item . The quarterly will be out soon and we will see the reality once again .
If you can use the released quarterlies or half yearlies to show me that at 100 bopd they are profitable I promise I will never ever post on the FPL thread as long as a live.
