Why is it in life that some people choose the hard road when the easy road is staring them in the face? If I was this bloke I'd take the 300 grand atv has offered for his patch of dirt and buy 12 mil of atv at 2.5c. In 3 years time this stock should be worth maybe 25c (we all hope) so his holding would be worth 3 mil. A better return than selling Christmas trees I would have thought. As for a counterclaim numbers I would think atv would be playing it quiet until the law has finally delivered a final result. A higher Court may get annoyed at a counterclaim that tends to have a presumption of rightness about it before the law hss run its course.
