If there was ever a stock on the market that was a certainty for a takeover this was it. We knew it was going to happen but we never knew how much. Most were expecting 10 cents....
I still can't believe BPT are getting away with this company for 8.5 cents. Of all the companies that I have held that have been taken over there has always been a good fight that has pushed the price of the company substantially higher. For ITC there was no fight at all and that's where my disappointment rests. At minimum I expected VPE to come out with a cash and script offer. After all why did they build such a large stake? Surely it wasn't to make a short term profit? Why did they rush to raise capital with so much in the bank? Were they ever prepared to fight but decided to roll over right at the end? I guess we will never know.
I have never been an active poster on this thread but have always read the comments with a keen interest. Thanks to all and good luck with your future investments.
