Traders look at stocks that can be hyped and tossed around big time. Mostly those stocks that just emerge out of the woodwork. That's not LPE.
But funds apply PE-ratios, income streams, profit outlooks and so on and that is what puts LPE on their radar. They will now have a closer look and a few, I am sure about that, will start to take smaller positions.
LPE, despite having 1b free available, is not that liquid as many either hold on to all of their shares or at least to a core and trade around the sp - if even possible. We will either see them to buy up, maybe 3c, or starting some funny games to squeeze out some weak hands. The other option would be to offer the directors to buy some of their holdings. But I don't think they will let theirs go for just 3c.
The traders may move a sp quickly but often without LT substance while the big funds move slowly but steady.
Either way, sub 3c is a great buy and I don't understand what the aim of yesterday's selling was - maybe a last shake out before taking off or just impatient holders were afraid the 4C could have been a bad one.
