I used to think that as well Razor but not anymore. In my opinion, unless the company is required by law to announce something substantial such as making an acquisition, has received a takeover offer or if plans are not working out which has a substantial affect on the company, I would prefer they just update the market at the quarterly. There is nothing worse than a company that promotes themselves in an attempt to appease shareholders and get the price of there shares up because they may have a need to raise funds. West Wits does not currently need to raise funds so there is no reason to update the market on a regular basis, especially if something substantial has not happened. I do agree in this instance though that an update would be good, especially since we are in the very early stages of production is SA. Xmas is always a terrible time though in SA to get anything done, so Id imagine we might get an update just before the quarterly is due. I have a good feeling about Derewo as well - we should know by July this year if Derewo will be successful or not - I am quietly confident things will work out because WWI board is very good in relation to patience and negotiating. I have always said that if any company can bring Derewo into production it is the board of WWI. Most companies would have walked away by now.
