I think ASIC maybe interested in the operation of the company and the directors operation of the company regardless of size. There has been talk of class action due to the antics that have happened over the years. Just because they are little doesn't mean people haven't invested good money and in some cases have been possibly duped into staying a holder rather than leaving.
Hopefully it doesn't go down this track and we get something fruitful, but I suspect somehow it will end up in dissolution of the company, loss of our money and possibly lawsuits instigated by former shareholders or ASIC. Like I said before that is an outcome (while not great it is an outcome).
I really would like to see that deal that was offered before Valentia saga, the one "that was not in the interests of shareholders"? I suspect it was a buyout and as RD is majority shareholder he was probably gonna get screwed. Doubt we will we ever know, be interesting to see if they've revisited the offer though. I wonder if EVM have been dynamic enough to have been looking at any of the tenders currently available in Aus. Considering the $650Mil award couple weeks back for the Solar Thermal Tower Plant. If they haven't I'd have to question why there have been no submissions - again feeds into lawsuit territory as they haven't been acting in our interests.
Hopefully we will know something by Friday - somehow i doubt it.
