Whilst not taken well by the market, this doesn't appear to be too surprising. We would have expected to have to submit an environmental assessment detailing our affect on local flora/fauna and our proposed mitigation of harm.
The exclusion zones may be too onerous or may simply fit with our activities (hopefully).
With horizontal drilling we can access product far in excess of our surface footprint.
A lot to play out here methinks.
