Probably.
But maybe that's already factored into the share price, is what I'm trying to gauge.
I think that the market is often an ass, but it can sometimes be pretty good at anticipating things.
I think it has been ahead of the curve when it comes to marking down the likes of JBH, SUL, HVN, NCK, FLT, and other sectors exposed to discretionary spending.
What I'm trying to figure out is how much of a consumer strike is being factored into current valuations of these kinds of stocks, noting from previous experience that timing the cycle exactly right is very hard to do.
Probably. But maybe that's already factored into the share...
